关于绘画使用模特问题的批语

定一、康生、恩来、少奇、小平、彭真同志：

此事应当改变。画男女老少裸体Model是绘画和雕塑必须的基本功，不要不行，封建思想，加以禁止，是不妥的。即使有些坏事出现，也不要紧。为了艺术科学，不惜小有牺牲。请酌定。

齐百石、陈半丁之流，就花木而论，还不如清末某些画家。

中国画家，就我见过的，只有一个徐悲鸿留下了人体素描。其余如齐百石、陈半丁（之）流，没有一个能画人物的。徐悲鸿学过西洋画法。此外还有一个刘海粟。
