王力十五日清晨3-7点谢富治、王力、余立金、张国华、刘结挺、李再含在重庆接见了两派代表，王力讲话，主要精神有如下四点：
一、54军是毛主席的部队，中央是信得过的，也是第一个向中央检查支左的错误的。
二、不能把2─3月份的情况提到4月5月份，现在揪赵永夫式的人物是错误的。
三、要团结起来共同对敌(谢副总理插话：立即全面制止武斗)。
四、三方面(“井司”、“保革派”、“砸革派”)都要作自批评，首先“井司”做自我批评(“井司”兰亦农副政委立即插话说：我们首先检查，要在什么范围就在什么范围检查)。王力对“砸派”讲：你们提的过左了一点，有些过激了。对“保革派”讲，你们压制了“砸”派，今後不能再压制了，我看你们的大字报骂“砸派”就比较多。
