“肃反的方法是错误的”

肃反是完全应该的，但在我看来，那次肃反的方法是错误的，缺点大于成绩，伤害了许多人的积极性。为了说明他的看法，他做了这样一个比喻：一个人的身上有块疮，如果用火来烧，细菌当然烧死了，可是连人也一起烧死了。他向记者说：你说是烧死细菌是主要的，还是烧死人是主要的?所以会这样，是因为没有接受“三反”“五反”教训的结果。不采取群众运动的办法也完全可以把反革命肃清。
