给《人民日报》社编辑的信

六月八日你报七版刊登的我的那个发言，有些地方和原意有出入，请予更正。“我要重述一遍……只空喊万岁是没有用的”这段报道的全文是：“我要重述一遍，群众总要推翻共产党，杀共产党人。若你们再不改，不争口气，那必是这条道路，总有这么一天。这也是合乎社会主义发展规律的，只空喊万岁是没有用的。”

应改为

“在这次整风中，如果党内同志不积极改正缺点，继续争取群众的信任，那不仅可以自趋灭亡，而且发展下去，可以危及党的生存。”
