中共中央批复共青团中央书记处关于开展毛泽东著作的学习运动的提法问题的请示

中共中央批示：在青年中组织毛泽东著作的学习运动，在提正式的完整的口号的时候，用“学习马克思列宁主义、学习毛泽东著作”的提法较为妥当。在为外国刊物写文章的时候，也可用这个提法。但在国内普通场合（包括演讲题目，文章和消息的标题等在内）可以用“学习毛泽东思想”。学习毛泽东思想，不仅对指导中国革命和建设有重要意义，而且对发展国际共产主义运动和反对现代修正主义也都具有十分重要的意义。我们不把“学习马克思列宁主义、学习毛泽东思想”并列起来提，是避免人们把“马克思列宁主义”和“毛泽东思想”误解为两回事；而正确的理解是，“毛泽东思想”本身就是马克思列宁主义，并且是马克思列宁主义的重大发展。
