新华社广州27日电　广东省普宁县公安队开枪打死退社农民。

6月19日，葵坑乡部分退社农民因不满合作社把坏田退给他们和不发给他们肥料证，与社干部发生纠纷。当时，乡、社干部把一位带头退社的农民扣押，引起退社户更大的不满，于是将六个驻社干部和一个乡干部捆绑起来。中共普宁县委闻讯即请当地驻军和县公安队一起前往解决。部队到该乡后与农民协商不成，便开枪镇压，结果打死打伤农民各一人，并扣押了二十多人。
