徐州旱灾地区部分农民逃荒

【江苏分社23日讯】徐州专区各地9月以来无雨，各县晚秋将因旱灾减产。据估计：赣榆、东海、新沂等县山地黄豆减产三成到六成，睢宁县减产50%。花生因地干扎不下去，不能结果。补种的荞麦光开花不结实。旱灾地区群众思想混乱。他们认为：“小麦冻死，早秋淹死，晚秋旱死，最后人也要饿死了。”有的准备出外逃荒。赣榆县圩子乡已有62人出外逃荒，其中包括村支部书记、团支部书记。农民听说到关外牡丹江边有活干，又听说连云港正在修铁路通往青岛，许多人都想往外跑。（邵琼）
